someone told us that many Iranians are not really happy about the way their cultural heritage is preserved these days. There is a lot of renovation going on, but the quality of the recent work is supposedly not in the least adequate but rather focused on time saving and money making. I wonder if the above picture proves just that, or if the mistakes in the mosaic are far older...
